Altre Holdings LLC, doing business as Altre Learning ("Altre Learning," "we," "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, membership, podcast, emails and related services (the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name and email address when you sign up for our free guide, newsletter or membership.
  • Account details when you create a member account.
  • Billing information when you buy a membership or service. Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Kajabi Payments and Stripe). We do not store your full card number.
  • Anything you choose to share with us, such as messages, questions for live Q&A sessions, community posts, or your state or country so we can send relevant law change alerts.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical information such as your browser type, device, IP address, pages visited and how you arrived at our site.
  • Whether you open our emails or click links in them.
  • This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, mostly by our website and email platform (Kajabi).

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver what you asked for, such as the free guide, emails, membership content and law change alerts.
  • Create and manage your account and process payments.
  • Send you emails about Altre Learning, including new episodes, resources and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Answer your questions and provide support.
  • Understand how our Services are used so we can improve them.
  • Protect our Services, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to run our Services:

  • Service providers who host our website and membership (Kajabi), process payments (Kajabi Payments, Stripe), send email, or provide scheduling and analytics tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of Altre Learning, our members or others.
  • Business changes, if Altre Learning is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

If you post in a member community, other members can see what you post.

Our website uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

5. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards as required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see section 7).

Our Services are designed for parents and other adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

  • Emails: unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
  • Account information: you can view and update your account details by logging in.
  • Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@altrelearning.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests as required.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers for hosting and payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International visitors

Altre Learning is based in Colorado, United States. If you use our Services from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will post the new policy on this page and update the effective date, and may notify you by email.
